Freight and Toll Road Research

This web site was developed to provide information on Intermodal Freight Transportation and toll road research.  This includes the documentation and analysis of operations for 6 major Florida Seaports.  These are; Port Canaveral, Port Everglades, Port of Jacksonville, Port of Miami, Port of Palm Beach, and Port of Tampa.  A quick overview of the project can be viewed by clicking Truck Project Slideshow.

UCF's research team (in picture from left to right: Dr. Haitham Al-Deek (PI), Dr. Jack Klodzinski, Pradeep Sarvareddy, Ahmed El-Helw M.S.) headed by Dr. Al-Deek has conducted research which investigated the relationship of heavy truck traffic to Freight movement at Six of Florida's Seaports.
